Swahili

Description

Swahili is a highly decorative water base acrylic coating for stunning soft metallic effects for interior walls and environments. Casting light and space blend to add visual feel to its chromatic composition. With soft velvet-like texture Swahili adds elegance and style to high end modern interior design.  Swahili has an expansive color range produced from a gold or silver base. It is flowable by nature and so can be rolled, troweled and brushed on the intended substrate. Highly versatile, Swahili can be used as a stand alone coating or used complimentary with other mineral plasters and paints in the Novacolor product line.

Application:

1. Dilute 20% with water for increased volume and workability. For better concealing power over the  substrate it is recommended to use Novalux paint emulsion tinted to the color of the chosen Swahili finish coat.
2. Apply 1st coat of Swahili with spalter brush using even but random brush pattern.
3. Apply 2nd coat with Swahili diluted with 5% water and again with spalter brush using random pattern brush strokes.
4. Novacolor Clear Coat may be applied to dry Swahili surface for added protection.
