Marblestone

Description

Marblestone is a seasoned hydrated lime-based finish plaster coating. As a limestone, marble base material it is in essence a stone veneer made of natural organic lime putties, fine marble powder and earths. Linseed oil and rheological modifiers ensure high flowing workability. Marblestone achieves a uniform semi polished sheen creating. Soft and vibrant tones. Marblestone is purposed for the decorating of interior and exterior surfaces. Its versatility can be seen in the application to achieve semi polished, uniform, industrial or antique like surfaces. The high degree of alkalinity typical of lime and high permeability of Marblestone make the finish a perfect anti-mold agent. Since it is of lime composition, the preferred substrate for Era Veneziana would also be other natural lime plasters. The product reacts chemically well with them building a strong body that will prove durable for longer periods of time.

Application:

Apply 2 coats of Marblestone with an INOX stainless steel trowel. First coat applied even and smooth. Second coat applied even and smooth with stainless steel trowel also using a lightly hydrated sponge float to erase any unevenness or trowled joints.  Tightly trowel to produce a velvety texture with satin finish.

• Premixed renderings
• Moisture permeable plasters
• Gypsum board
• Pre-existing lime and gypsum plasters

Approximate coverage yields 12.5 square ft. per kilo based on a two coat application system.
