Marmorino KS is a trowel on seasoned hydrated lime-based finish made of natural organic lime putties, fine marble powder and earths. Linseed oil and rheological modifiers ensure high flowing workability. Marmorino KS is formulatedin whole respect for traditional and historical “recipes”. Marmorino KS mineral plaster creates aesthetic cloudy effects, with soft, vibrant shades with a velvety texture reminiscent of satin honed limestone. Marmorino KS is one of our most versatile products that can be used as a base material for all our product finishes, flattening of textured walls, or as a final luxurious finish in itself. It can also be highlighted with “Antiche Patine”  or “Latte Di Calce” to give natural color depth and highlights. The high degree of alkalinity typical of lime and high permeability of Marmorino KS make the finish a perfect anti-mold agent. Since it is of lime composition, the preferred substrate for Era Veneziana would also be other natural lime plasters. The product reacts chemically well with them building a strong body that will prove durable for longer periods of time.

Application:

Apply 2 coats of Marmorino KS with an INOX stainless steel trowel. First coat applied even and smooth. Second coat applied even and smooth with stainless steel trowel also using a lightly hydrated sponge float to erase any unevenness or trawled joints.  Tightly trowel to produce a velvety texture with satin finish.

The application of Novacolor Cera Wax to enhance and add protection is recommended.

Approximate coverage yields 12.5 square ft. per kilo based on a three coat application system.
